Seminyak
This is my home and where I live - just 5 minutes from the beach, where you can watch the sunset and also go surfing. Great for beginners - all beach breaks. There's a boardwalk you can walk early in the morning when it's cooler out.
Uluwatu
This is my favorite place on the island. It feels and looks exactly what you would imagine when you think "Bali" and "beach vacation". There are these dramatic cliffs that you can overlook the rolling waves and surfers from, or you can hike down to the beaches and have a swim at sunset.
My favorites spots to go to are:
- Dreamland Beach - great sunsets, you can lay out on your own towel, or rent one of the chairs. Be careful for the shorebreak though, probs not the best if you want to go swimming.
